The first leg of the Western Sydney Rapidplay Grand Prix was held at the Rooty Hill RSL Hotel yesterday and was won by Jason Hu and George Xie on 6/6 each. Hu and Mandla had a shorter than grandmaster draw in the last round to help Hu to the first place whilst Mandla won scond place.
Its Now under a month until the Doeberl cup and the Sydney International Open. I hope to do some interviews and profiles on some of the players playing in these events.
